About

When I was about thirteen my dad gifted me his old Nikon film camera from the 80s. Using what basic knowledge I had gathered from my middle school’s photography class I bought some film and gave it whirl. After overexposing not only that roll of film, but every other I bought, I gave up, and left that poor camera to rot in my childhood desk. Fast forward 7 years later my parents bought their first DSLR camera (mostly to document my brother’s growing baseball “career”) [if you’ve ever had a family member start travel baseball at 12 you’ll know why ‘career’ is in quotes] and I started bringing it on family vacations to record my own ever-growing wanderlust. Though learning how to use that film camera is still on my bucket list, I found my photographic inspiration in the digital world. As is only right for a millennial.

Following my college graduation, I purchased my first camera, a Nikon D5300, and have been travelling with it ever since. Here you’ll find a collection of my photos which I hope will inspire and motivate you to get out there and explore. Whether that’s in your backyard, your town, country, or on the other side of the world. Hope you find something here you like ☺
